Aslan is the 2nd son of King Wesbedein. After killing his older brother, he became the sole heir to the kingdom in the 406th year of the Eternal Kingdom.
His first goal was to build the kingdom into a fully neutral nation. However, he became king with the help of the Saharan Empire.
His constant pressure to territories affiliated with Grid prompted the latter to initiate the Eternal War.[1]
