Information[]
The small city was originally under the jurisdiction of Earl Steim. After gaining big achievements in the north, it was given to Jishuka and then Grid. Bairan is a territory that Jishuka, a founding member of Overgeared, brought as a gift.[4]
Bairan Village[]
Monsters often pop up so the population is small, but the area is large and there are several mines, so the possibility of development is indefinite. The population might be low but many users would come. If the guild who owns Bairan managed it well, the taxes would be profitable.[5] After Grid's marriage with Irene it was able to achieve tremendous growth in a short period of time. Thousands of people migrated every day, hundreds of new houses were built, the number of shops increased and the economy was booming.[6]
Bairan City[]
After founding of the Overgeared Kingdom, Toon was in charge of the territory of Bairan. It was hard to meet in game, so Shin Youngwoo was used to getting reports about the situation in reality.[7]
Originally belonging to Winston, Bairan has developed into a city larger than Winston and gained independence. Bairan has geographical advantages, and is a special place for Grid and the early Overgeared members. This means it received a lot of investments. Piaro has stayed there for a while to develop the agriculture, making it the most important supply base for the Overgeared Kingdom apart from Reidan. It inevitably means there were many troops stationed at Bairan, 8,000 troops as preparation for unforeseen situations. 25 mid-to-upper level Overgeared members led by Ibellin has been deployed.[8]
Mapping[]
Bairan was a former village in the Eternal Kingdom[9] and was a territory under Winston[10] to which it lies adjacent[11] in the east[12] but from Winston Castle's walls an onlooker can gaze at the village in the south.[13] Geographically, it is easy to interact with Winston and the distance to it is only half a day using a carriage.[14] There is a junction between and to Winston and Bairan when coming from Reinhardt to the north.[15] It can be classified as the outskirts of the North[16], but Bairan is closer to the capital than Patrian. From a kingdom's point of view, it is convenient to have a base in Bairan[17] as one of the routes to Patrian starts there.[18] On a map of the region with Bairan in the north, Patrian is in the south while Reinhardt is in the east.[19]
Surrounding Region[]
The ferocious monsters near Bairan are at least level 100. The level of users there are at least in the mid-80s, and they always need a party when hunting. It is a dangerous place where users below level 120 cannot leave the village alone.[20] There are several hunting grounds and dungeons for high-level users. It is a location where guild members could easily level up.[21] But most of the nearby hunting grounds are low to medium level. It is natural that the players' average levels with 140 is low compared to Rankers.[22]
