Biplonz is a demonkin guarding the Abyss who Grid met during the Abyss Exploration.

Note: This article is for Biplonz—a Demonkin, and not for Drasion—a Great Demon. For the latter entity, please see the article: Drasion.

Introduction[]

Biplonz looks like a young man. Unlike the other guards of the Abyss, his skin isn't melted, and his use of the human language is fluent.

He has white skin, sharp teeth, and black eyes without any whites — similar to Grid Blackening mode. The only differences are his bat-like wings, his ears are pointed like an elf and has a tail.

Story[]

Chapter 1064-1070[]

Biplonz is an enigmatic demonkin that was born in the Abyss. He is in the possession of the heavy magic keys of the prison cells and is able to fight well even with all that weight.

He cooperates with humans and find humans scary as he thinks that humans are strong because of the Grandmaster and as him believes that humans will one day dominate the world. He wants to fight other demonkin to know if he can really fight.

Biplonz was relatively friendly. He even showed a willingness to answer questions. The problem was that he didn’t know anything. After being defeated by Grid he reveals that he was made the manager of the Abyss by the Emperor of a hundred years ago and have to protect the keys faithfully to not starve to death since he can't leave the Abyss as he is afraid of humans in the surface and can't defeat the hydra at the bottom.

For some unknown reason, Noe is scared of him while Iyarugt is wary of him.

Chapter 1173[]

Braham goes to the Abyss and find Biplonz there. He says he were born in a strange place after his previous life. He ask if Braham knows him and he asks back if he wants to know. He naturally wanted to know. No, he had to. Born in the Abyss, Biplonz knew nothing except for the fact that he was a demonkin. Who he was, why was he born here with nothing, and what type of scenery did the outside contain? He had so much he wanted to know. For some unknown reason he felt afraid when he was about to face the truth. It was a much deeper fear than the abyss-like darkness encroaching on the gap there. After the silence Braham said that if he wasn't ready, there was no reason to force it and ordered to get out of his way. Biplonz felt he couldn't win against the person in front of him then let him pass.

Chapter 1344[]

Drasion's past memory was awakened inside Biplonz by Benoit, the third prince of the Saharan Empire. See Drasion for the story.

Notes[]

  • Drasion is awakened in Biplonz, but there are inconsistencies in the matter that it is not clarified whether Biplonz is the same as Drasion. Chapter 1344 describes that the soul of Drasion was defeated by Kraugel after wandering as a soul for hundreds of years. However, according to chapter 1066, at least 100 years had passed since Biplonz was born and began staying in the Abyss. Kraugel must have traveled either in the time or Biplonz is not equal Drasion. Another remarkable fact is the significant change in the appearance of Biplonz and Drasion. Why would Drasion as a fallen angel described with feathers have no feathers as Biplonz? When comparing chapter 1064 and 1348, forgetting memories cannot be the only difference between the two. Biplonz is clearly described as a demonkin in chapter 1064 and Drasion is clearly described in chapter 1348 as an angel in appearance. Furthermore, it is known from other great demons like Hell Gao or Astaroth that they can also borrow bodies from others. Just because a great demon awakens into an NPC does not automatically mean the NPC or monster of the body is the great demon.
