Blacksmith is a production class that uses forging tools to make various objects. The process through which they make items is called blacksmithing. Many factors go into making these objects and they each influence how the item(s) will turn out.[1]
The place where a blacksmith works is called a smithy, a forge or a blacksmith's shop. Although many others are able to work with metal, the blacksmith has a general knowledge of how to make and repair many things, from the most complex of weapons and armor to simple things like nails or lengths of chain. Due to that, many players are dependant on blacksmiths for weapon and armor repair, aside from buying their items.
