In the dungeon where Marie Rose was sealed, Grid came across the coffin she was sleeping in. Pope Chreshler's ego was sealed in it. With this encounter, Grid gained information about the past from Chreshler's perspective.

Chreshler was the second pope of the Rebecca Church. He and Rebecca's Daughters had sealed Vampire Duke Marie Rose.
He was extremely powerful, but his successors were not. He lived up to 110 years old, and then his ego was sealed in the Sacred Wood Coffin to restrict Marie Rose's power. Even in this state, he was so powerful that he could easily dissolve Grid's Blackening and immediately detected the four blessings he received.
