Composure is a stat that increases the recovery rate from status conditions. A player who is able to raise properly the stat can also overcome status conditions at an extremely fast speed.[1] This also applies to status conditions which are revealed by the personality of a player who lost the coolness under confusion and agitation. The moment that a player is about to completely lose control of the thinking power the effect of the composure stat will most likely activate. 400 points in composure are enough to show the effect to instantly recover the coolness.[2]
General combat classes find it difficult to increase the stat. Production classes have it easier with the bonus stats by produced items.[3]
The resistance to status conditions given by the composure stat is low compared to the complete status resistance of a legendary class.[4] This stat is not very useful for a person who is completely resistant to all conditions. It is the case for Legends with the title One who Became a Legend. But even then the stat is useful when the effect of a legendary class' 'resistance to all status conditions' does not apply as against the frenzy state.[5]

- Composure is one of the stats which opened when Grid became Pagma's Descendant, a Legendary class holder.[8] Later on, when Kraugel became Sword Saint, like Grid he also acquired the stat alongside the other three stats, Indomitable, Dignity and Insight.[9] It has to be further clarified whether the four stats mentioned above are acquired when one becomes a Legend or not. Grid's Dexterity is excluded, because it is given to every Production Class.
- The stat works as a persistent passive which is always applied.
- It can be assumed that Grid only is suddenly successful, because the stat has an effect on Grid's personality since he acquired it.[10]
