Chapter 946-947[]
During the PvP round of 64 participants, he trapped his opponent in a sand castle and won. In the round with 32 players, he fought Bubat. He overconfidently said Bubat was weak, only to be defeated.
After losing, he waited for the Demon King's Subjugation to begin. When he learned of the voting system, he cast a interesting spell in the hopes he'd earn the votes. The spell is then deflected by Magic Contemplation, convincing the public the Demon King is immune to magic.
Chapter 950-951[]
Convinced by the idea that the Demon King has magic immunity, Goshar and the other magicians start complaining. One person steps up and says that it is likely the King has phases in which he is relatively weak to magic. This motivates the magicians.
Goshar is in Group B, who is attacking the west gate. There they encounter Benz. Goshar believes that the Four Kings should be weak to magic so he uses Giant's Hand to attack. The knight absorbs most of the damage, surprising him. He tries to cast a wide area spell, but he gets targeted. Coke saves him, and then Peak Sword takes command.
Chapter 954-956[]
After a failure to break any of the gates, the 400 players start strategizing. One ranker points to Goshar and tells him to not focus on form. Goshar is displeased at the idea of not looking cool, but he gives in.
After breaking down the gates, Goshar warns the other magicians of the Demon King's magic immunity. He tells them to focus on defensive spells and supporting. During the fight, Goshar acts as a support and saves Weldon from the Demon King's "bewitchment".
