The Ego Items produced by the skill are not magical creation. It is the physical result of beating an ‘existing soul’ into the item.[1] Granting an Ego was to hammer an ‘existing soul’ (soul sacrifice) into the item while the dwarves’ ego items mean waking up the soul of the item.
First, utilize the Granting an Ego skill. This was the method that only Pagma and Grid could use. It gave the target item the desired soul so it was very quick and easy to get the result they wanted. However, Grid sealed this skill due to ethical issues. There was also a very big disadvantage that there was a limited number of uses.
Granting an Ego to an Item[]
Granting an Ego is a system where the will and rights of the target ego are given priority over the user. If the target ego does not respond to the user's call, it does not activate.[2]
Known Rules[]
- The skill user and the target ego must know each other.
- Granting an Ego triggers only when the target ego responds to the call of the skill user.
- No matter what form the ego exists in, it would be forcibly belong to the item the moment it responds to the call.
- If the item that the ego belongs to is destroyed, the target ego would return to its original place.[3]
