Summary[]
It is an expensive material, costing 2 gold per kilogram. The jaffa ores have a lower concentration of impurities and a lower melting point than iron ores, suitable to be smelted at around 950~1000 degrees with a jaffa to coke to limestone ratio of 12:2:4 and a strong orange glow from the beginning. The high purity molten jaffa can be used to create jaffa arrows.
Notes[]
- As Smith explains the smelting process, a distinction is made between jaffa and jaffa ores. See also the quest Mineral Smelting.[1]
- Jaffa ores are mentioned in three chapters. [2]
