Information[]
Khan's smithy is a two-story building located on the East Street of Winston. On the 2nd floor is a terrace for resting. It is owned by the blacksmith Khan, and his family for 7 generations, including Albatino, whose works inspired Pagma. At this place, Grid learned the knowledge of Khan and became Khan's successor. While Grid was a member of the Tzedakah Guild, it was the guild's hideout. The current situation of the smithy is unknown, since Khan and Grid moved to Reidan.[1]
History[]
According to a king's decree, each place can only have one smithy, so the Mero Company tried to take possession of the smithy. To reach its goal, the Mero Company offered weapons of inferior quality at a favorable price in its blacksmith stores, bribed Khan's long-time friend to drive him into debt to the Mero Company and hired the Winston Outlaws to put pressure on Khan.[2]
Story[]
Fortunately for Khan, Grid showed up and defends his smithy against Winston Outlaws during the quest Blacksmith's Rage, the Mero Company in the Item Production Game, and the former lord of Winston Lowe, an ally of the Mero Company, during the Apostle of Justice quest. Rabbit, who betrayed the Mero Company, planned to make this place the best smithy with profit comparable to a small or medium-sized company, but was imprisoned. Afterwards Grid received from Khan the position of Smithy's Successor.[3]
Grid sells his early created items through the store in the smithy, which were very popular and were called by users the Unknown Craftsman Series. After the 1st SNC, which made Grid famous, many users tried to buy Grid's items in the smithy, but they were also fascinated by Khan's items. Visitors from other countries came and the queue of customers was at least 100m long. Khan had to hire four workers.[4]
