Madra

Pagma is good at deceiving and taking advantage of others. To put it simply, he is an ill-bred bastard. You will be in trouble if you trust the openly exposed gaps he shows.
— Madra's vigilance

A king who lived without defeat.

Information[]

Madra was the 9th king of Lubana Kingdom, which he defended safely until his death[10] as a strategist who mastered martial arts. He was the only king among the nine former Legends[11] and after his legend, the Lubana Kingdom was unbeatable during his rule. The Saharan Empire in its prime could not occupy it.[12] In front of Madra's valor, the empire's soldiers who accumulated experience in the process of winning over the continent became cowards. In front of Madra's tactics, the empire's strategists who turned the world upside down with mysterious tactics were nothing. And the empire's knights that caused the empire to dominate with strong force couldn't endure Madra's strength.[13]

Overwhelming the empire alone[14], Madra was the ultimate warrior before he was a genius strategist.[15] Madra had the unique ability of ‘perfect’ status resistance among all the legends.[16] After learning a variety of swordsmanship, he had many active combat skills.[17] In a stage where pure combat is prioritized for a one on one match without variables and shallow tricks, he was the best[18] who has never experienced defeat once.[19] In the first place, he could achieve a perfect victory on any terrain. The evaluations of Madra are at least as good as that of Muller and Mumud.[20] He was the only one who was able to fight the grandmaster Zikfrector of the empire.[21]

Appearance[]

At the River of Reincarnation, there was a uniquely upright existence among the souls moving while entrusting their bodies to the flow of the river. The form was also distinct. He looked like a living person, like King Daebyeol, unlike most other souls that had faded. His well-developed forearm muscles helped show what type of swordsmanship he would perform.

Personality[]

His face strangely contorted as he remembered the humiliation of being resurrected and used as a death knight by this bastard Pagma, as well as the loneliness and pain that he had to endure because of it.

When using his unique swordsmanship, his inflates his arm's muscle. The muscles of his hand and arm holding the sword wriggled and the blood vessels bulged. The air around the area sank heavily. It was as if he alone existed in the world. He showed an overwhelming presence and focused the attention of those around him to himself. The 'Undefeated King's Swordsmanship' was an incredibly powerful swordsmanship that damaged the arms of the user. He developed the Perfect Status Conditions Resistance to settle the sword's recoil.

Madra was a simple person and lacked artistic naming sense. He was not fit to be a Sword Saint. He named each skill of his swordsmanship based on their named function, categorizing by the quantity of enemies.

History[]

Madra won all 97 wars against the Saharan Empire.[22] His constant refusal to surrender caused upset in his kingdom, which caused the nobles and his own son to rebel against him. Rajandra stabbed him in the heart and offered his head to the empire.[23] Even if he hadn't been killed, he would have died of old age not long after.[24]

After his death, the Saharan Empire hid most of the information about him and his kingdom.[25]

Pagma the legendary blacksmith and Baal's contractor went to his grave to ask for his help to repel the demon invasion, Madra refused fiercely, but was dominated by the death knight contract and forced to obey.

Notes[]

  • Madra was previously referred to as Hamad in 783, but that has since been fixed.
  • In chapter 1855, Madra is stated to not be a Legend, contradicting many statements and evidence he is a Legend. He is still listed as a leegnd here, as the statement was taken as not enough evidence.
