Madra was dominated by the death knight contract and forced to obey Baal's contractor, Pagma. He fought the demons over and over until the demons gave up completely.
He spent one hundred years in complete solitude.

Madra was glad to have a battle with an opponent he couldn't gauge, as Grid was too many things, swordsman, blacksmith, magician, tailor and king, both fought fiercely even when Madra was weakened due to being a death knight therefore lacking a lot of his skills and the fact that Pagma wasn't supplying him the energy he needed to access the skills he needed and resurrect himself in case of defeat, something he didn't really need as he was still undefeated even in undeath, in the end after a hard fought battle with a lot of luck on grid's side due to god command activating at the proper time Madra was defeated, not before trying to unlock one of his skills on his own, "300 thousand army massacre sword", said skill was too much for his already battered body and his left arm exploded sending his sword flying, Madra just sat on the floor satisfied of his actual first defeat and offered grid his memories (diary) as a prize that bestowed the undefeated king's power little by little to the one who read it before graciously receiving Grid's last hit who destroyed his already dead body and sent his soul to rest.
