The Pavranium is the legendary mineral created by the collaboration between the two Legends, Legendary Blacksmith Pagma and Legendary Great Magician Braham.

Information[]

Pavranium is the best of Pagma's legacy as an Ego Item. But the ego in the Pavranium was not created purely with Braham's Enhanced Magic. The ego contained in the Pavranium is particularly outstanding compared to Braham's golems. Pagma used the Granting an Ego skill to imprison the soul of the Empress Maribel and gained the grudges of the Dwarves. Grid's material Greed inherited the soul.[2] The ego in the Pavranium is not a magical creation. It is a physical result of beating the soul of another into it.[3]

Pavranium makes judgments and moves on its own. In the form of God Hands Pavranium often points or raises their middle finger at enemies. Even so, it may be believed that the Pavranium has no emotions. All the judgments and actions of the Pavranium are as if they are based on its instinct to be of service to its master. The ego appears at first to be a type of magically created system so Pavranium is treated as a machine. However, the thoughts change in the moment when the ego items made from the Pavranium behave as if they have clear emotions. Their provocative action are then recalled intentional, not coincidental. For these reasons Grid became aware during the Talima arc that the actions of the Pavranium are due to the soul within the mineral. As the God Hands spun faster and more fiercely after the realization, they even gave Grid the feeling that they wanted to say something.[4]

Originally, the soul of the Empress Maribel inhabited the mineral Pavranium but it was split apart several times and repeatedly reborn in a new form. The Soul could not be safe during the process. Even Braham had suffered from the aftermath of his soul's damage. By the time Grid started collecting Pavranium, the Pavranium had already been torn apart into dozens of pieces. The empress' soul had been broken the first time she met Grid. It is why communication with the soul of the empress (Pavranium) is not smooth. She is just a rag and an idiot with only her instincts left.[5]

Notes[]

  • Braham once referred Pavranium, to the future Pavranium-which would have been blessed by the four Gods, as the 'Divine Pavranium'.[7] It is unknown what he meant by the term, was it a rating or did he call it as such because of the blessings of the four gods? Who knows?
  • Pavranium obtained God Yatan's Blessing in chapter 309, reconfirmed in chapter 317. When the description of the Pavranium in chapter 892 was shown, Grid was in Asgard, the world of the gods. Since God Yatan is the opponent in Hell who rules over the demons and Asgard corresponds to Heaven, this is probably the reason why Yatan's Blessing was missing in the description. If Yatan's Blessing were to be active in the realm of Goddess Rebecca, it would have meant that Yatan is a god with influence in Asgard. However, Yatan has been introduced as an antagonist and hence that would have been absurd.
