Introduction[]
Toban is the chief of staff of the Tzedakah Guild. He gave a bad first impression on Grid earning him one of the few who will last receive equipment crafted by Grid.
Appearance[]
Little is known about his appearance, except that he is black.
A black haired man, who had been listening silently for a while, wanted to cut to the chase.
The identity of the black man was Toban. He was 1st on the paladin rankings and the chief of staff for the Tzedakah Guild. Pascal ordered him as a paladin of the Judar Church.[14]

Chapter 12[]
Toban was looking for new recruits to attend the Guardian of the Forest raid party. Grid wanted to join, but Toban doubted him.
Chapter 128-134
Toban, the First Paladin of the Judar Church, was instructed to bring back the Holy Light Set from the Rebecca Church, which a user has looted. Asuka, Box and Black Teddy offer Toban his help to learn the butcher's identity. By coincidence, the changed quest target is the butcher, Grid. As they spotted the user it comes inevitably to a fight, because Toban recognizes too late that it is Grid. Toban is even forced into the fight by Box with his skill Puppet. Toban, as the only survivor at the end, tries to negotiate with Grid, but he does not know the true value of the Holy Light Set and fails. To reassure Grid that he had attacked him, Toban's bait life now begins with Malacus' Cloak.
