Weapons Mastery is a passive skill that raises the attack power and speed no matter what weapon is worn.[1] It is the highest mastery skill that raise the power of every type of weapon[2] while increasing the accuracy rate regardless of what type of weapon is used.[3] Like every Mastery skill Weapons Mastery has the 4 stages from Beginner to Master. Of course, the skill has its drawbacks. The increase in abilities is small compared to the mastery skills that are specific to one weapon.[4]
Unless they are some combat specialized class, more ordinary users only learn one type of mastery because only one type can be applied at a time. If the level of two masteries is similar, the advantage of specialized skills can be seen because only the higher effect between masteries is effective. It is decisive which type of weapon is the main weapon. As long as the one type of weapon is used, both masteries increases but Weapons Mastery accumulates experience with any type of weapon, while the specific mastery only gaines experience when using the specific type of weapon. So if you have already started with Weapons Mastery, you can learn a specialized type and it rises faster, but the higher Weapons Mastery skill will only apply. If the specialized type is not the main weapon the increase is very difficult.[5]
Only a small number of combat specialized classes can obtain the skill, and it can be called the strongest weapon unique to a few classes.[6] Weapons mastery is a skill with fantastic compatibility with someone like Grid, who can use any weapon without restrictions.[7] Blacksmiths does not have any mastery skill at all.[8] A user with a passive skill that allows all weapons to be used is suitable for the skill when the limitation of not having a mastery type skill can be overcome.[9]
