Information[]
The Yatan Essence is a universal poison and the counterpart of the Yatan Church to the Goddess' Tears of the Rebecca Church that are a powerful remedy.[1] It is a black liquid which is filled in glass bottles.[2] As one of the most fraudulent items in Satisfy the essence uses the power of the evil god Yatan.[3] The Yatan Church views it as an all-purpose item for simple curses up to summoning a Great Demon. The power is absolute. A barrier created with the combination of the essence and black magic cannot be broken. The Yatan Essence is even able to damage the World Tree.[4]
Yatan Essence shows the ability to destroy personality if taken.[5] A single drop of it can extremely weaken the human mind and cause the body's mana to become chaotic.[6] It penetrates deep into the body, burning Mana and blood.[7] In the poisonous state even the fingertips cannot be moved.[8] The irresistible demonic energy harasses and manipulates the mind.[9] The affected person can be brainwashed becoming a perfect puppet[10] and situations will become twisted.[11] It is even possible to corrupt one of the strongest knights of the empire like Asmophel in the past. Nothing is worse than the combination of Yatan Essence and black magic.[12]
People who work with Yatan Essence certainly do not have good intentions. They are also guaranteed to have a partnership with the Yatan Church, which wants to destroy the world. It will be serious if the Yatan Essence comes out.[13]
Description[]
(The actual game description is not available in the novel.)
Notes[]
- In three chapters it is called Yatan's Essence[14], while in 15 chapters it is called Yatan Essence.[15] The former emphasizes that it is Yatan's power. The latter more that it is about the item. This is especially noticeable in Chapter 788, where both forms appear in two sentences in a row.
